Efforts from students, parents, community, staff, and administration made Elgin Husky Homecoming 2024 an exciting week full of games and activities.
ASB Student leaders and staff helped organize school spirit activities during the week that got students involved and excited for the home games and activities that were planned!
For the first time in as many years as community and staff could recall, a homecoming parade was organized and received many compliments on what the students were able to create and the excitement that it brought to the community.
Also planned and organized was the bonfire celebration on Thursday before the game. Senior student athletes brought out the ceremonial flame that got the fire and celebration started. The Husky Pep Band played and the coaches and athletes gave encouraging and rallying speeches that helped create a competitive atmosphere for the games that followed on the football field.
We would like to thank all the support from everyone involved in helping make this year's homecoming celebration a success and hope that we can continue to build off of this experience and make each year special for the generations to come!
