Information Sessions Scheduled about Potential High School Restructuring

The Elgin School District is exploring the possibility of restructuring our current high school. We are looking at transitioning our students in grades 7 and 8 to the high school for classes on a full-time basis. If you are interested in receiving more information about that possible transition, you can visit with Superintendent Mrs. Greif at one of three Information Sessions open to the public:

Tuesday, February 21  4:00 PM
Thursday, February 23  9:00 AM and 6:00 PM

All sessions will be conducted at the District Office.

Information About School Delays/Closures

With the arrival of winter weather, we would like to remind parents/families about our district policy. If school is delayed or closed, the information is posted by 6:00 AM on:

  • District Website
  • Automated calling system
  • Regional media outlets (newspaper online, radio, Portland & Tri-Cities tv stations)

If no notice is posted, school is running on regular schedule.
